Sea of Broken Dreams

Sea of Broken Dreams
Rev 1:6, 22:5

After midnight
the sleeper closes his eyes
and escapes from reality
And in that dark room
the Shaker comes and He shakes
the sleep from his slumber

A sea of broken dreams
arriving at the temple
A sea of broken dreams
comes harder to remember

“Oh that blissful
my ignorance is so tasteful
Why should I awaken?”
Arise my sleeper
You're called to service the One
who gives rest for your labor

His countenance is holy
that it humbles the light of the dawn
